Bandages

Card Name: Bandages

Realm: Science

Suit Meaning: Resources, value, provision, exchange, integrity, and choice.

Number Meaning: Duality, choice, relationship, balance, and the meeting of two perspectives.

One Word Summary: Balance

One Sentence Summary: Balance invites me to give care, labor, and resources a sustainable form without sacrificing my well-being to maintain them.

Through the Lens: Balance is not the absence of injury or difficulty. It is the ability to respond to changing needs without exhausting the resources required to continue. Care must include the caregiver.

Scripture: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV)

Keyword: Balance

Hunter Interpretation:

Every Hunter learns that surviving a Hunt is not the same as finishing one unharmed. Scrapes, cuts, bruises, and minor wounds are part of the profession. Bandages are among the simplest tools in a Hunter’s kit, but their value is measured by when and how they are used.

A bandage cannot undo an injury. It protects the wound, supports recovery, and allows the Hunter to continue until they reach a place where they can tend to it more carefully.

The Two of Diamonds represents the balance between pressing forward and tending to what has already been damaged. A Hunter must decide when to spend precious supplies, when to accept assistance, and when an injury demands more than a temporary solution.

Care is not a distraction from the Hunt. It is part of surviving it.

Hunter’s Question: Am I caring for what sustains me, or am I spending tomorrow’s strength to meet today’s demands?

Stabby Gameplay Effect

Heal Minor Damage: Use Bandages to treat one minor injury.

Bandages do not restore major wounds or remove conditions requiring specialized treatment.

Flavor Text
