Hunter Interpretation:
JACK OF SPADES
A Reality Tear is an encounter in which the established rules of an environment become unreliable. Space, time, movement, or the behavior of objects may change without warning.
The inexperienced Hunter may attempt to overpower the anomaly, but force applied without understanding can make the situation worse.
The Jack of Spades represents the Hunter learning to observe, test, and respond with precision. Every action should reveal something useful. Every intervention should have a purpose.
The challenge is not simply to survive the disruption, but to identify which rules have changed, which remain reliable, and how to act without creating additional danger.
A successful Hunter does not need to control the entire anomaly. Sometimes one carefully chosen action is enough to escape, contain the threat, or protect the team.
The lesson: Understand the problem before attempting to solve it. Use only as much force as necessary.
Stabby Gameplay Effect
Rules Shift
A Reality Tear changes one established rule of the encounter, creating an unexpected complication that Hunters must recognize and adapt to.
The specific rule change and its duration remain to be defined for playtesting.
